-A ghost town located along the San Pedro River, about 10 miles west of Tombstone and within the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area (NCA)
-Originally called Junction City, then Kendall, and then Fairbanks, before being officially named Fairbank on May 16, 1883
-First settled in 1881 and was an important location in the development of southeastern Arizona because it was the closest rail stop to Tombstone
