Gould's Turkey


- Gould's Turkey (Meleagris Gallopavo Mexicana) is a wild turkey subspecies that lives in arid deserts and mountain regions
- The largest subspecies of wild turkey, but has the smallest population
- Males weigh 20–25 pounds, while females weigh 8–12 pounds
Can be found in the sky islands of southern Arizona, fairly common
- Their habitats can be rough, with steep and rocky canyons
