Great Egret

-Egrets are herons that are long-legged wading birds with white or buff feathers ... they have an S-curved neck, long bill, and short tail
-During breeding season, egrets develop plumes and a bright green patch of skin on their faces
-Several varieties are regularly seen in southern Arizona
