Peña Blanca Lake

- Pena Blanca Lake is a 45-acre reservoir with a surface elevation of 3,819 feet within the Coronado National Forest
- Located 18 miles northwest of Nogales on Highway 289 (Interstate Highway 19, exit 12)
- The Arizona Game and Fish Department built the lake in 1957 and it opened to visitors in March 1958
- The lake is at the base of the Atascosa Mountains
- Offers year-round fishing and boating
- Anglers can find large-mouth bass, bluegill and redear sunfish, and channel catfish in the lake
