- Western diamondbacks can grow to be about 7 feet long, but most are between 4 and 6 feet long
- Not uncommon in southern Arizona
- The "rattling" is quite loud and usually a "get away and don't mess with me" warning from the snake ... so, get away and don't mess with it! Unfortunately, sometimes someone will "step" on one by accident ... if bitten, get medical attention as soon as possible!
